I temporarily moved somewhere by a lake and was very inspired by the scenery. In this town, music is very important. I would have never thought of painting musical instruments until I moved here and I'm very thankful for this new direction I can take. This piece here is part of a banjo. I tried painting a very light coat on the leather to not change the sound of it when it is played, but it is mostly just for show.

Sold for $350.

This painting is not yet finished but I wanted to show the progress.

Sold for $200 and is being displayed at a guitar store in Texas.

This custom guitar was painted for a cancer fundraiser called the "Buddy Bash," in honor of a man named Buddy Bash who died of brain cancer. This guitar was auctioned off at a live auction for $800. Together we raised over $14,000 in one day! My grandpa died from pancreatic cancer, so it was an honor to be able to contribute to this fundraiser.

A man saw a painted guitar of mine that was hung up in a guitar store and asked me to paint one of his electric guitars. Featuring his mules on the front and back with their names on the harness.

This piece means a lot to me because it was my first colored painting since my head injury in 8th grade. This painting is a rendition of Thomas Kinkade's 'ridge of Faith." I found it very symbolic since I was in such a dark place and in so much pain, trying to find my way back to my faith once again. This painting was submitted into a Junior VASE competition when I was 14. Which if you're not familiar with, stands for Visual Arts Scholastic Event. I won first place out of the whole competition.

This is an oil painting of one of my favorite Monet paintings. He has been my favorite artist ever since I was little and one of my dreams is to travel to France and have the opportunity to paint in his garden.

I struggled a lot with this piece. It's not quite my traditional style, but It was a custom piece for a friend of mine and I incorporated his style as much as I could. My steps in painting guitars begin with cutting the strings off, then sanding the wood and varnish down as much as possible, then start with my favorite and most common medium; acrylic! Once I am done, I let the painting sit for at least 24 hours. Then cover it with a few layers of glaze, waiting 24 hours between each coat.

I defiantly have a style and a favorite type of landscape to paint. I try to mix up the mediums, this painting here is a water color along with water color pencils.
